Islam begins
Episode 2 of Omar portrays the dawn of divine revelation in Mecca and the discreet gatherings of early converts at Dar al-Arqam. As the message of monotheism challenges ancestral traditions and idolatrous merchant cartels, prominent Quraysh elders grow increasingly alarmed. Staunchly committed to preserving ancestral tribal unity, Umar views the emerging faith as a destabilizing rupture, unaware of the spiritual destiny awaiting him.
