Umar during his youth
In Episode 1 of Omar, the historical epic opens in pre-Islamic Mecca, portraying the youth and formidable stature of Umar ibn Al-Khattab within the respected Banu Adi clan. Renowned for his wrestling prowess at the annual Ukaz fair, eloquence in tribal arbitration, and commanding presence across desert trading routes, Umar navigates the complex social hierarchies of pagan Arabia. Amidst prevailing tribal rivalries, seeds of profound moral questioning begin to take root.
